HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Just finished my degree and am traveling while looking for a place to settle down and a way to financially sustain myself.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've stayed with some wonderful hosts in France and elsewhere. I've not had a chance to host yet because, well, not that many people come through Indiana (where I was in graduate school) :)

Interests

My education is in restaurants and social media, so I like to eat out when I can afford it because I love to see what chefs around the world are up to.

I have been a baker in the past, and love to make pastries and investigate pastries around the world.

To balance all that out I ride my bike as much as possible, and have recently begun to really enjoy mountain biking. I also like to run and do yoga with others whenever possible.

Teach, Learn, Share

Most people eat a spice called cassia as cinnamon. Real cinnamon coming from Sri Lanka and South India is more expensive and has a more distinct flavor than cassia. Both are uniquely appropriate for different cuisines.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can cook and bake...though I like recipes!

I can work on websites using most CMS - Wordpress especially.

I can help with computer skills, content development, and media management.
