HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I was born and raised on the east coast in Aberdeen, Maryland. In my early twenties I made my way to California. I spent twelve years living and working in California. I accepted a job in Reno, Nevada and completed my Bachelors degree at the University of Nevada while working full time in Technology Sales. I moved from a Retail Management career to a sales career. I relocated to Portland Oregon in 1993 and have fallen in love with living in the Northwest. While living in Portland I completed a Masters Degree in Information Management from the University of Oregon. In 2005 I accepted a job in Olympia Washington where I currently live. I belong to the Mountaineers which is a wonderful hiking and climbing organization in the state of Washington. I try to spend most weekends either on the Olympic Peninsula or Mt. Rainer Park hiking. My passion is traveling and I am looking to perhaps teach English as a second language in Eastern Europe or South America in 2012. I also enjoy movies and reading a great Mystery. I am the eldest of six and I have seven nieces and nephews all living on the east coast.
