I'm Ben, a funk fan and lover of the world's places and worldly people 🌍 I'm a trained journalist and business growth/marketing communications professional living in Roath, Cardiff. My house late 19th century and is within a few hundred meters from Albany Road.

It has been through various stages of renovation (Autumn/Fall 2025). There's a sofabed in the front and hopefully other rooms will be available as building materials are used and renovation is completed.

I enjoy meeting people from different countries and have spent lots of time in Finland, have travelled Europe and the US, as well as visited Greece, Turkey, Egypt, Peru and Canada etc. Planning a coast-to-coast trip by rail in the US next year. I have family in America and Kenya and connections with Ghana so looking forward to travelling there and many other places. Would love to chat travel and culture over a pint and food (I also enjoy cooking and foodies).

I have mild Cerebral Palsy - just so you know - but I'm active and enjoy showing visitors around/exploring, so hopefully we can make a plan and go adventuring. 😊
