Hello! My name is Ben and I am a recent graduate as a history teacher. I am a history buff and enjoy learning new languages, meeting new people, and love new experiences Currently I am a teacher at VIPKID, which is an online company where I teach English to Chinese children. This job only requires me to have a computer and a good internet connection, allowing me to travel anywhere and continue to work. I am a laid back dude and a clean roommate. Why I’m on Couchsurfing

While going to college to pursue a degree in education, I always knew I needed to move aboard when I graduated. in college, I was lucky enough to meet my girlfriend, Holly, who studied in Chile in 2015. we decided to move to Valparaiso after graduate. My goal was to move to Chile as a starting point for a year of traveling and bettering my Spanish! I landed on December 1st of 2018 and we have been living here for three months! I'm on couch surfing because I am looking for a place, I can stay at for two weeks while my girlfriend and I say goodbye to Chile. I want to meet new people, so I think couch surfing would be perfect for us.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In 2015 I skateboarded down the Beartooth Pass, one of the highest roads in the rocky mountains. it was 13 miles (21km) to the bottom and was an incredible experience.
