ABOUT ME

I'm a friendly guy interested in travelling as much as possible to see new places, people and ways of thinking.
I do a lot of hitch-hiking, and one of the reasons is that it is so interesting to hear how many different ways there are of living, and how differently people approach problems. I love Couchsurfing for the same reasons.

PHILOSOPHY

I like being happy, and try to base decisions around that, and I'm more comfortable when I have a challenge and purpose. But no overarching philosophy. If you have a good one, let me know!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I can only host during university term time and when it's cool with my housemates. I really enjoy using it to travel.

Interests

Studying for my Chemical Engineering degree takes up most of my time, but I'm also president of the Ballroom and Latin Dance club at the university (but I'm really not that good!), so that takes up a lot of time too. I practice and compete with the club, and I also do a fair bit of climbing at the uni wall.
Of course travelling whenever it's possible goes without saying, wherever I feel like next really. I enjoy all kinds of media, although I enjoy reading the most.

Year out in Guyana was pretty cool, definitely miss hammocks.
