Hello there! I am a Dutch nature and outdoor enthusiast with a strong passion for languages. I am out and about discovering the world and would love to meet people from different cultures and backgrounds. I love improving my language skills through good conversations in a multinational environment, so perhaps we could learn from each other too! Furthermore I'm always up for a good hike or to go exploring in nature because the world is too beautiful to be left unexplored :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am currently traveling through New Zealand and am really keen on trying out couchsurfing to have a fully immersive Kiwi experience and hopefully even make some good new friends along the way :)

I like a range of electronic music (Moderat, Weval, Stephan Bodzin) and really like dancing to techno/house, but can just as easily let myself go on some funky disco tunes, Queen or whatever's on.

Big movie buff, so if you ever want to discuss films, you'd make me a happy camper :)

Favourite books are the Kingkiller Chronicles (Name of the Wind e.a.) and the Red Rising trilogy

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Besides scuba diving in Thailand, the most amazing thing I've done is probably getting a pingpong ball into the last cup standing while throwing from behind my back, hitting, the cupboard first and then into the cup during a game of beerpong

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am fairly good at languages and am a tutor so I would gladly teach you anything i know about linguistics! Besides that I love having deep conversation, but who doesn't I guess
