Hi! I'm Ben and I love to play music. I write my own songs and I'm currently busy recording my own EP. My dream is that my music will inspire and help people in this world. I feel like that's my way of giving back all that's been given to me :)

I recently took a big leap of faith quitting my job, selling my home and go for the music and follow my dream!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to challenge myself to do the things that scare me so that change may happen . One of the things is going on a big trip on my own, meeting new people. I have never done that before but since I've found out that opening up and meeting a lot of new people inspires me and gives me so much new energy, I just want to go for it!

I am planning to do a round trip to Joshua Tree and Yosemite Park and wherever the trip may take me and I hope to find other people that would like to join me on a nice relaxing trip through nature.

I love Ben Howard, Alex Flovent, Cage The Elephant, The Black Keys and so much more. Depends on the state I'm in. I'm from the Netherlands so I'm obviously into deephouse and techno and I love to go out and dance too!

I love the book Surfing With Sartre which is about getting in the flow of life and doing what you love. And also a few other books that helped me getting to know myself better and being a better person.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

It happend a few times that people told me they were inspired or touched after I played a few songs on stage. I think that's awesome, as I feel that it is my purpose on earth. To reach people through my music. Oh and bungeejumping off a bridge was pretty awesome too.
