I'm 24, I used to work in a bank but decided I want to be a chef instead, so this summer I'm trying to eat all the food in Italy! I'm in Italy for 6 weeks, my planned stops are Venice, Padua, Verona, Milan, Genoa, Parma, Modena, Bologna, Siena, Perugia and Rome.

I'm travelling alone here so it would be great to meet some locals if I can.

I've been working in France over the winter, as a chef in a ski resort which was amazing fun.

When I'm not eating I'm usually in a church looking at paintings. Or drinking coffee.

I mostly listen to music from the 60s and 70s, but I like a variety of things. Motown, Bowie (I have a tattoo of him), Jamiroquai, The Cat Empire, Quincy Jones, ABBA, Michael Jackson, Rolling Stones, Beatles, Pulp, The Who, Madness and Tchaikovsky are some of my favourites.

I'm currently reading James and the Giant Peach in Italian to help me learn the language!
