I love to travel, to see beautiful places and meet interesting people. I especially enjoy travelling by bicycle - I've done a number of tours in Europe. Slow travel (by bike) is such a good way of seeing a place; it makes you look around you and talk to the people you meet! Couchsurfing is also great for this, which is why I use the site.

I have hosted many cyclist through Warm Showers (a couchsurfing network for cyclists) and hope to meet more people on the real Couchsurfing!

It is a really good way of meeting people and getting to know a place - not just the usual tourist spots! Couchsurfing hosts are always generous and interesting people who it is such a privilege to stay with get to know. Being able to return the favour and repay the network by hosting fellow travellers makes this way of staying places unique.
