I'm currently a student at the University of Michigan, and I'm from the great/terrible state of Oklahoma. Make of that what you will, but I promise I'm not insane.

Interests

I love to travel, which is why I got this account! A broke student such as myself can't afford accommodations most of the time. I love the outdoors, especially going on backpacking trips.

I also play cello (I love love love classical music!) and am trying to learn piano.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'll listen to literally anything, but I have a special affinity for classical (the Elgar cello concerto has a special place in my heart) and folk music.

Favorite movie: Mad Max: Fury Road. It was SO well done.

I recently discovered Oliver Sacks, so I'm really enjoying his work at the moment (Musicophilia, I want to read Gratitude as soon as I'm done!).
