I am a graduating senior from a liberal arts college in South Carolina. Currently, I am studying abroad and interning at an creative arts centre called Summerhall in Edinburgh, Scotland. I am couch-surfing because I wish to travel the world. I hope to meet new friends and gain experiences that could only be attained through local interactions. I wish to not only find happiness, but to also spread happiness to others.

I enjoy all types of music, ranging from bluegrass folk to rap and hip-hop. My favorite bands include: The Beatles, Animal Collective, Fleet Foxes, Arcade Fire, Gorriallz, Adult Jazz, My Morning Jacket, Coldplay, Vetiver, The Shins, and the list goes on. I love films including works directed by Wes Anderson, Stanley Kubrick, Christopher Nolan, Paul Thomas Anderson, and Richard Linklater. My favorite author is John Steinbeck, with East of Eden being my muse.

I have hiked the North Carolina , Tennessee, and Virginia segments of the Appalachian Trial and hope to complete the entire trail some day.

I am from a small city in Tennessee, thus I have not experienced a richly diversified atmosphere. I would love to expand my horizon and gain insight in different cultures. I love my culture and I would also love to share valuable lessons that others might find strange or unique.
