Interests

For the last 5 years ballroom and then latin dances have been my main escape from study, and I am still in love with the sense of connection you can have with a total stranger. I'm trying to dance all over Europe!

Academically I'm into Physics and Machine Learning, they're both fields in which you can build powerful expressive models which can still be explained intuitively. I'm always keen to discuss.

I was once a boy-scout and still have a taste for survival skills, tracking and the outdoors!

Like everyone I'm trying to figure out how to live a good life and be a good person, and I find different perspectives and tools to this end to be useful and fascinating. Right now I'm trying to figure out how to tell a good story :)
