Hi I'm Ben! I am currently a University student studying Physics and Astronomy and studying abroad for the year in Gießen, Germany. I just got to Europe in August and haven't done a whole lot of traveling but am excited to experience as many places as I can while I am here! I love the outdoors and am an avid wilderness backpacker when I get the chance. I have backpacked through Yellowstone and all around Washington, Oregon and a little in Canada including to go see the Solar Eclipse in Oregon last year. I also do a good amount of rock climbing and running when I get the chance.

I just recently joined couch surfing for a trip and met some amazing people and would like to continue meeting new people, experiencing local cultures in the places I visit, and share my own experiences. I currently live in a college dorm and am unable to host but am excited to once I have a place with more then 6 square meters of space.

Algo increíble que he hecho

I backpacked over 120 kilometers through Yellowstone national park for 9 days last summer! Most memorable moment was on the 4th day we came to a natural hot spring connected to a rushing river and I spent hours in it completely alone in the wilderness. My most well deserved bath.

I have some very random skills and obscure knowledge that I would love to share but can never think of it off the top of my head. A few examples I can name are juggling, (very basic but I can do it), astronomy and physics knowledge, backpacking and wilderness knowledge, cooking, I am happy to help with English.

My first Couchsurfing experience was amazing and taught me all about the local culture and life in Switzerland. I love to see how others live and get to know them and the places I'm visiting through their eyes.
