Hi there, I work as an Editor, photographer and VFX artist in Bristol (on a boat). I guess I am a pretty laid back person, I enjoy meeting and chatting to people, I happen to be pretty lucky and have an amazing job in a city I love, but I am not at rest here, I need to see more of the world. I'm happy to host people but live a pretty busy life so ask but I may not get back to you for a day or two.
I would also like to travel and meet some lovely local hosts.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am new to couch surfing. I plan on doing some travelling over the next few years and would like to meet some people who have come from around the world so I can build an idea of where I would like to go.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I had the opportunity to go into Syria to film in a refugee camp in early 2016. It was all that I expected, immensely sad but I didn't expect to see so many Syrian kids laughing and smiling. Your mouth hurts by the end of the day but your heart also hurts in a lot worse way. I now have red zone training and would like to do more to raise awareness of what so many people choose to look away from.

My job means I travel the world photographing and directing. I love it but its all work so need to spend some time in places not working.

Stories, a drink, I will happily do the dishes or cook you food. I like to meet and talk to people but If you need space I am happy to wonder a city or take a walk.
