Hello! I am a native of England, been living in working in New York for a few years now, apart from one year in India. I love to take advantage of all the city has to offer, including meeting people from all over the world.

I love to meet people from all over the world. I also like the idea of doing things the frugal way, with the occasional splurge on a nice hotel room :)

Intereses

I love to run (including the odd marathon), long distance bike ride, and compete in triathlons. I also play the guitar and piano. I also love to travel, read, and love cats and animals generally. I have no TV! I'm a self confessed history nerd and like to visit museums whenever I'm in a new place.

My number one sport is still (English) football - I still regularly follow the progress of my hometown team Weymouth from afar.

I love all kinds of music. Progressive rock, jazz, classical, ambient, folk, music from all round the world. I spent a year in India and now appreciate a good Bollywood song.

Cycled from Lands end to John O'groats (900 miles) in 10 days - its the bottom of england to the top of Scotland. Absolutely beautiful!

Qué puedo ofrecer a los anfitriones

I'm in a nice but fairly small apartment on the corner of central park in NYC. The subway is on the same block and about 15 mins into midtown. In my living room I can offer a couch, and sleeping bag. You may be sharing the same room as a cat. I have a piano and guitar so musicians are particularly welcome!

Note, I tend to have quite a lot going on, so people looking for someone to show them around all the sights may not find me the best fit as a host.

I receive many requests a week and don’t respond to cut and paste messages. If you’ve taken the time to read my profile and have written something thoughtful, there’s a far greater chance I’ll accept .
