About Me

These days I am mostly reading books of spirituality, like Osho, Sadhguru, Eckhart Tolle, Thich Nhat Hanh....) and doing more meditations, also enjoy doing nothing and taking a walk among nature. Or listen to Indian flute master pt hariprasad chaurasia.

What follows is my past info:

I like learning languages and reading literature most of the time, besides working as a freelance translator. I don't know much about gourmet food or the best shopping places (I search in the internet myself), but I can go to museums with you, take you to a peaceful stroll in the nearby mountain. or go to hike in the outlying islands. I am more interested in art and cultural ideas, and fascinated by the ancient Chinese's view on art and life, though also attracted by western literature and Eastern spirituality. Recently I practice qigong and meditation and prefer to spend more time in nature, so I would like to meet people willing to hike, to explore the natural trails in HK or the outlying islands, people who genuinely love nature.

Some museums are situated in town, some are in outskirt, which can be combined with a short hiking trip. I have in mind now two of my favorite routes: 1, University museum of HKU (University of HK) , from there you can walk up to the Peak in Central in 1 hour, then walk around the Peak to enjoy the sunset; 2, visit the museums in the Chinese University, which is situated in a mountain, overlooking the sea...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Want to meet kind and generous people. Basically to improve my foreign languages. Hopefully to share my interests with like-minded people, though sometimes people quite different from me can inspire me with something unexpected.

Interests

Reading poetry, classics or books that catch my attention, hopping between literature and philosophy. Now focus more on staying healthy through traditional qigong practices.
I have no religion, but I 'm always expecting miracles, great and small.
