Suuuup. I'm Ben, a young, yet weathered traveller. I'm very outdoorsy - spent most of my childhood mucking about with campfires and climbing trees in the woods in rural England where I grew up. I studied Biology at the University of Oxford and am now just starting a new job with Eli Lilly, the pharma company.
I'm sporty as well as nature-obsessed, and I love football. I'm also a creative little man; I paint, draw, play guitar, blog and occasionally design webpages and apps.
Music is my passion. Unfortunately for most around me that would be METAL. Metalcore, Heavy Metal, Death Metal, Hardcore, Post-Hardcore, Electronicore, basically anything with core in it. I like core. I spend my money travelling to distant places, drinking, and going to music festivals/shows.
Everyone that knows me can vouch despite my love for aggressive music I'm actually just a friendly, witty little bloke.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I don't have my own place just yet but I'm still travelling a lot. I love the hostel scene, because you meet so many friendly young people with interesting backgrounds and even more interesting travel plans. I'm on here to meet these people everywhere on my travels.
