Overview
About Me
Hi, I'm Ben Zilberman. I'm 24 years old, single, and grew up in the multicultural environment of the old city of Jerusalem (near the Temple Mount) where I developed a passion for all things culture and people. I am currently nurturing these passions at Hebrew University while studying history and culture-specific social work.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
The way I see it, traveling the world just isn't the same without getting an "insider's view." I want to see the country for real, from the native's perspective, not as a mere tourist. I want to get a feel for what it's like to live there, who the people are, what they do, and what they care about. In my historical quest as well I always seek the insider's view: no one knows the history of a country like the residents themselves. I would also love to have a local give me pointers, guidance and tips about where to go and how to get there.

What I Can Share with Hosts
I am a conversationalist who enjoys sharing my worldviews with others and is genuinenly curious and open to the points of view of those around me. When I talk to someone, I try to be truly present for them and understand where they come from. I do my best to promote the ideals of mutual respect, love and friendship for all.
