I am 24 and live in Melbourne, Australia. For the past 6 years I have been studying at university in Australia, and will begin working full-time next year. I was born in San Diego in the United States, but have spent most of my life living in Australia. I have spent several periods living overseas, participated in exchange programs, and have also spent time working and volunteering in South-East Asia.

I am a friendly, outgoing person who enjoys meeting new people and discovering whats out there in the world. I am a kind soul, fun, funny and friendly, who is passionate about my hobbies and areas of study/work.

I love travelling, and have been fortunate enough to go to some amazing places and meet some amazing people. I'm always open to new and exciting experiences and broadening my horizons. I enjoy challenging myself by stepping outside my comfort zone.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like to travel and learn things from other people. When I travel, I prefer to get to know a place by experiencing the local way of life. I signed up for Couchsurfing as a way to meet new people, and (hopefully) gain perspective on different parts of the world and the people that live there.

I am up for pretty much anything, as long as it is interesting and dealing with new people :)

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to alot of music in my spare time - almost all genres and era's. I have far too much to say to discuss my favourite music here - it would be much easier in person. I have a small-moderate vinyl record collection. I'm always looking to continue making additions to it.

I love reading, but have found it difficult to do lots of it while studying law and working full time. I read so much for uni that at the end of the day the last thing I want to do is read more!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

It's really hard to pinpoint one amazing thing that I've done. One of the standout experiences I have had was travelling through Myanmar (Burma) a few years ago. It is an amazing country that isn't overrun with tourists. I was lucky enough to spend a few weeks travelling through Yangon, Mandalay and Bagan, in addition to exploring the small villages with some of the locals :)

What I Can Share with Hosts

I signed up for Couchsurfing as a way to meet new people, and (hopefully) keep in touch in the future. As I love broadening my understanding of different parts of the world and the people that live there, I would love to share stories about my life and my travels.

I think that Hosts will find me relaxed, easy going and fun loving. I hope to share some unforgettable experiences with the people I meet :)
