Helloo! I'm Ben from Aachen, Germany and recently studying my Master degree in Industrial Engineering at the RWTH University.
I am a really open minded person, uncomplicated, always motivated to meet new people, like to explore the nature or cities and love music - in the way of listening and playing.
I think it's great to get in totally new situations with new people and learn so much about different perspectives on things as well as all the stories people can tell.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

In January I will go abroad to study my Erasmus semester in Linköping, Sweden and looking really forward to learn more about this beautiful country, it's culture and people. After High school I was traveling in Australia, New Zealand and Asia for a year and made my first experiences with so many great people and loved the opportunity to be their host when they came over for a visit.
Therefore I thought about Couchsurfing the first time I will arrive in Linköping because I will move to the student housing in February. The plan is to bring my van from Germany as well but thought it could be a little to cold to sleep there during January :)
I am really excited about meeting many new and interesting people when I'll arrive and would really appreciate the opportunity of a nice Couchsurfing stay.

I reeeeally like doing road trips in Europe, no matter in which direction and which country it is!
In the last years I also started thinking more about my own sustainability and like the challenge of changing some things in my personal way of life (like being vegetarian or just being a little bit more questioning with things).
Also I really like to practice sports like football, boxing and running - I think it's just amazing how good you can feel after a fulfilling sport session!
Whenever I have the time I start playing the guitar as well as singing - but no worries, I also respect silence a lot . Usually I am practicing covers of every kind of music and love playing together with others :)

• Love watching How I met your Mother (I think it always sets you in a good vibe) as well as Breaking Bad
• One recent movie I really liked was Yesterday, beautiful music and nice plot.
• And for sure a evergreen: Lord of the rings, all of them :)

Nightover in a -15 degrees cabin in a Swedish National Park, which was kind of freezing cold but a great experience underneath the beautiful night sky :)

If you want, I can maybe teach you some guitar and sing stuff :) I absolutely like to listen to what people have to tell. Of course I also like learning and sharing about nice dishes and new cultural manners!
When there is motivation for doing some traveling and exploring stuff as well as cooking and have a woodfire in the nature, I can offer my Bulli for a nice trip.
