Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
New to couchsurfing for my first solo, self-guided adventure in Taiwan.
I went to a really great CS halloween party at The Wandering Paisa, the nicest hostel in Medellin, Colombia. Met some cool people, saw some great costums, played beer pong. A great evening.
Interests
Mountain biking, skiing, trail running, camping, taking trains when I have to get somewhere that I can't bike to. Cooking for people, experiencing culture through food, sharing food, talking about food, reading about food, all things food. Conversing. Learning.

Teach, Learn, Share
遠慮の塊, or in English phonetically "Enryo no katamari". This could be roughly translated as "the physical manifestation of holding back". In the real world, this phrase could be used to describe, for example, the last dumpling on a shared plate that everyone wants to eat but no one is willing to take, lest they look selfish. So, everyone ignores it, and the dumpling gets cold. You can impress your Japanese friends with this little phrase.
