Working in Okinawa, Fukushima, Guam and Pennsylvania.

ABOUT ME
My name is Ben, I'm from the USA. I Grew up outside of Philadelphia Pennsylvania, and spent 7 years in Japan. Most of that time I lived in Fukushima near beautiful mountains rivers and lakes. Currently I work for the Department of Energy doing construction work for the government. I am in the process of building my own company.

I speak Japanese fairly fluently, Chinese conversationally and Spanish a bit.

I love adventure, scuba, hiking , snowboarding, and learning new things. I like playing music and editing videos.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCH-SURFING

I've been a member for a few years, but only recently have I been able to be active a bit since I was moving around or in a remote area.
Hoping I can participate more in Okinawa.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I hosted 4 people in Japan, and have never stayed at any ones house yet. I hope to travel soon when I change jobs.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I suppose being in Fukushima during the disaster for 5 years and helping to rebuild during that time. I have plenty of other good stories though.

Building my own house was also a great experience, although it took a very long time!

I have a monthly apartment in Okinawa with 3 bed rooms for one person. If I feel I can trust you you can stay while I'm working.
