About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Explore my new home!

ABOUT ME

I am a masters student at West Virginia University who loves to take advantage of all of the outdoor opportunities WV has to offer. I am generally very easy to get along with and enjoy the experiences that come with new people.

PHILOSOPHY

Don't sweat the small stuff. Have fun, live in the moment.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I will always share a couch in my house knowing that there are plenty of others who would do the same for me.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have only surfed a couple of times, but I have enjoyed every second!

Interests

I love to climb, hike, bike, backpack, and generally be outdoors.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love many forms of media, whether it be music, film, or type. I have read just about all of Ed Abbey, Craig Childs, and Chuck Palahniuk. My movie interest lie primarily in the classic like Star Wars, A Clockwork Orange, and Alien, however I will always go for a Tarantino. I listen to just about anything, but mainly blue grass, metal, and electronic.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have been lucky enough to travel to several continents and experience many eye opening things, but the one thing that sticks out in my mind is waking up surrounded by the 500 foot walls of a Utah canyon while I was on a month long backpacking trip in the canyonlands.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love to teach people things! Whether it be how to tie a new knot or the best way to do your business in the woods, the more you know the better.

On the other side, you can't teach if you don't learn. There is a ton of knowledge out there just waiting to be discovered. Personally, I like discovering it through other people.

Countries I’ve Visited

Canada, Costa Rica, Fiji, Spain, United Kingdom

Countries I’ve Lived In

United States
