One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

A thousand sunrises, a half-dozen space shuttle launches, a glacier, another glacier, a cockatoo riding a bicycle, Leo Kottke in concert, the Burgess Shale. I once sat between Spike Lee and Philip Seymour Hoffman at a screening of '25th Hour'. Also, I was once the lead singer in a James Brown cover band, and I once directed a Jewish Samurai film (now we begin to stretch the limits of the adjective 'amazing'...).

Teach, Learn, Share

I can offer practical and esoteric assistance in the following areas:
Culinary skills - Indian & French. Mathematics - 'specially Probability Theory, Graph/Network/Percolation Theory, fun stuff like that. Language/linguistics - French, Hebrew, Arabic, Akkadian, Aramaic, and English (ME & ModE). Music - Bluegrass fiddle, Arabic fiddle, Carnatic mridangam.
