Making every day count.
Seeing the glass half full, instead of half empty.
Focusing on what I have, not what I'm lacking.
I like good coffee, good conversations, good cheese, good wine, good books, and good walks. Culturally, I'm a mix of American and European. Nashville is home.
I like people who are comfortable with themselves, genuine, open-minded, self-aware, interested in other people and other places, kind, authentic, honest, and clean-living.
Sibelius and Dvorak are two of my favorite composers. Doestovsky, Steinbeck, and Scott Peck are three of my favorite writers.
Il faut travailler pour vivre, pas vivre pour travailler.
Always eat well. Eat meals sitting down at a table, and use silverware.
Never drink coffee or tea in a paper, plastic, or other throw-away cup. Boire son café debout, c'est signe de dispute.
Recycle everything. Never throw a banana peel in the trash can.
Ne me donne ni richesse, ni pauvreté.
There are 7 billion of us here are sharing the same planet. If we were more accepting, more trusting, more understanding of others, and less motivated by fear and self-interest, the world would surely be a better place.
