About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Finding out if the Earth is finally round or not.

ABOUT ME

As many of us in here, I caught the traveling virus quite young. Studying history and journalism during the lasts years, I had the chance to live in Spain, Morocco, Belgium and, of course, some French cities and I loved it. It convinced me that I'm not made to stay too long at the same place. Then hitchhiking changed my vision of life forever, there's no going back now ! I'm finally living the thing : no job, no route, no pressure. I just got my backpack and thousands of persons to meet !

PHILOSOPHY

It's not easy to put it all in a box. But briefly I'd say that I want to try a maximum of the world's possibilities of being happy. That means to never limit my hopes and curiosity and always try to look on the bright side of life.
Of course, that's just a goal and it doesn't mean that I'm always happy with a big smile on my face. But usually, it's the case when I'm out there traveling !

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Being on the road since march 2014, I don't have a place to host anyone now. I did before when I had my own appartment, though. Oh, and I even found a roommate once using the CS groups.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I first met some Couchsurfers in Bayonne, France, 6 years ago. I was totally lost in this lonely city (arriving the day after a week of intense ferias). They offered me their couch for the night and we spent the whole next day visiting the mountains... That's how I first experienced the taste of couch surfing.
Now that I've been travelling a lot more, I met so many people that don't even know about couchsurfing and opened their houses for me. This is always the most beautiful gift a traveler can receive as he can truely understand something about the place he visits.

Interests

Rock'n'roll, hitchhiking, social alternatives and guillotine.

Music, Movies, and Books

Martin Eden by Jack London is a must read.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I swam in the Lake Titicaca in its Peruvian side and in an Irish lake during Christmas holidays. Cold, cold waters.
Also I got an awesome memory of a night partying in an underground metal club in the most religious city in Europe - Santiago de Compostela.

Teach, Learn, Share

I really want to learn more about mural painting, painting and engraving. Oh, and drums also. In exchange, I can teach how to fix a bike and cook gazpacho andaluz or french crepes.

Countries I’ve Visited

Albania, Austria, Denmark, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Kosovo, Mexico, Morocco, Peru, Portugal, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Thailand, Turkey, United Kingdom, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In
