ABOUT ME

I'm an avid traveller and talker - happy to share a cup of tea or a glass of wine with strangers and just have a chat.

I am open minded and independent, and I love the company of other.

I have traveled solo quite a bit (on and off) in the last 5 or so years. I am currently living in Melbourne, Australia, after living in Europe for a couple of years studying. I enjoy being in the company of new and interesting people.

I love to hike/bushwalk/trek and cook.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have surfed on a few couches through Europe, and have been to a few meetings here are there. I enjoy the very act of participating, just like the conversations I have. Its not about the souvenirs, that's for sure!

I also like when I am not couch surfing, and I identify with people who are part of CS - we get on like a house on fire!

I haven't had a couch to offer since I moved to Holland, but as soon as I do I would like to reciprocate and welcome people into my house.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I haven't slept on too many CS couches since joining, but in other circumstances I have been offered beds/couches/floors/under desks/front lawns/hammocks and sheds when I have most needed them!

I enjoy spending time with hosts who like spending time with me. This might seem vague, but I prefer to really engage with a place and its inhabitants, I'd prefer to be in looking out, then out peering in.

My favorite experiences have been the most immersive, rollicking, unpredictable turns of events which end up in a secret or spontaneous occasion. These things are best when you are not directly looking for them.
