About Me

CURRENT MISSION

My current mission is to be with my sister while she has my nephew. After that I'm going to school, lunch box in hand.

ABOUT ME

I'm a former Marine. Got out at the end of August 08. Never thought the day would come. Made it through a year and a half of Japan and six months in Iraq and am now ready to grow up. Currently looking for a job in my new location: Fresno, CA.

PHILOSOPHY

As long as you're happy. (But no one can get hurt)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I want to be a surfer and a resident couch. I don't get to host until I have my own place though. Or a roommate who doesn't mind.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've never had official couch surfing experience but I've gone from CA to VA and back again not staying in a hotel. I've also hosted numerous friends who needed a place to crash. Unfortunately I haven't ben able to host too often.

Interests

I love going out. Staying in has started to lose it's appeal to me. I love snowboarding, tubing (in all three forms), rugby, soccer, and whatever else strikes my fancy.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm a reader. My current favorite authors are Kesey, Palahniuk, and King. I watch movies, preferably small time ones that are really good. But you still get some strange ones. (Oldboy, a dubbed Korean movie) Music is anything I like. Current favorites are Authority Zero, Rise Against, Gogol Bordello, and Five Finger Death Punch.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Climbed Mt Fuji hung over, road-tripped across the US twice, been to Iraq, and more. I'll tell you stories for hours of strange/interesting things I've done. I'm not bragging. I'm just excellent at exaggerating.

Teach, Learn, Share

I know a lot of common household tips. My parents never called a carpenter or plumber. I also know basic/intermediary electronics, and numerous strange facts.
