ABOUT ME

31 y/o British non-smoking cat-lover (but currently without cats). Easygoing and enjoys meeting people, talking travel, languages and politics. Work a 9-5 job at an I.T company, enjoy it but am always thinking about and dreaming of travel. I also like exploring my surroundings and finding interesting things to see and do in the local area. Good times, good food and good people are what make my life tick...all I need is a cat or two to make it perfect. If I can get a few runs in, then all the better; I am addicted to marathons and beyond.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I used to host when I lived in Kyrgyzstan- unfortunately now live in a shared house so only host people I can vouch for (usually those I've met while on my travels). I loved meeting new people and sharing experiences and would like that to continue. What I can do is show people around my new home town St Albans (very historic, traditional English city). I'm new to the area and love exploring, have a car and am always open to spending the day on a road trip exploring the local area and showing visitors some of the nice English countryside.

Running from one side of the country to the other in a day was as fun, gruelling and enlightening an experience as any of my travels. For some reason, I went back to do it again the next year.
