ABOUT ME

Ben and I are very easy going, easy to talk to people who are totally interested in meeting new interesting people. A psychologist and musician - love to hang out and listen to music, chat about the world, travel, and learn new things.

PHILOSOPHY
Lara - I am a very ethically minded person. I'm all about personal development, growth and healing and learning to be a better, stronger, healthier person day by day. I feel strongly about issues in the world. I am all about equality and aiming for a violence and war free world. I have a big heart and alot of time for people :-)

Ben - Making the world a better place though music, education, food and friendships. Learning about other cultures and sharing with others to promote understanding and acceptance.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We have hosted heaps of couch surfers about 10 years ago (before the kids came along) on the old couch surfing site (we've lost all the reviews when they upgraded), and we've traveled Europe and Singapore couch surfing the whole way. Best. Fun. Ever.

We've had a break from hosting and couch surfing since we've had kids but are getting back into it.

Very keen to have more great couch surfing experiences, both staying and hosting.

Interessi

Lara - I love writing, psychology, research, science, travelling and languages.

Ben - I'm a professional musician and music teacher. Love talking music, politics, sports and food. Love learning from other cultures. Open minded and easy going. Have traveled a lot working in hotels in bands across Asia and Australia. Love a nice glass of red wine and good food. Love the ocean and exploring nature.

Musica, film e libri

We are into variety! Mainly contemporary, jazz or soul, r n b, but also love country, hip hop, and even love a bit of metal from time to time. Nothing's off the table straight out. Really just more into good writing and musicianship more than genre.

Lara - Too many to mention :-) I'm Australian, we don't like to toot our own horn haha! :-)

Ben - Lived in Abu Dhabi for 3 Months working in a band. Playing music festivals around the country; going on tour in NZ.
