I'm Bence, a thrird year student in an technical university in Budapest. I really want to be the part of the technical intelligentsia. I admire what the mankind could reach, I mean the technical development is just awesome! But Black mirror showed me that in some cases we should handle with care our technical gadgets, so I'm always a bit sceptic about the new inventions. :D You might think I'm a geek, but this is just one of my interests.
And here comes the other most important thing in my life: music. I think it is the easiest way to express feelings and emotions. It can make my day or it just makes me wonder about life. That's why I started to play the guitar, because listening to music is great but playing that music in an instrument is like you are the part of it. We have a small choir, in which me and my mate play some acoustic guitar in order that they catch the rhythm - just jokeing. We have a performance weekly, but nothing special. Additionally, we have a small band at my dorm, and we usually do some cover stuff. Just for fun! I play the bass there, and sometimes I sing. Aaand I boost the bass of the SATB of our Uni as well, it is so powerful, when a chord sounds from our 4 melody, and some piece has huge-huge emotions.
One of my hobby got me in my dorm, when I was hungry. I started to cook something each week, and few months later started to realised, that I enjoy it much!
Finally, I adore films as well. But not the blockbusters what I like, their plots are so simple that I can tell what the end will be! I prefer that kind of movies which make me thinking of its message or make me feel deep emotions. I mean the catharsis, not the love story. Some of my favourite films: Godfather, Fight Club, Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

During my travels I want to get to know the life of the people, the conditions and atmosphere of the chosen country. I think knowing these, gives a better understanding of a country than only visiting the churches or the museums. Of course I like to see such things, which are not casual, but a gallery full of painting is just not my cup of tea. Anyway I would like to get to know new interesting people, so I'm ready to surf on a couch!

I prefer live music, nowadays the mainstream music is made with computer and virtual instruments. That also can be good, but when I go to a concert I want to hear the music that is played with real instruments instead of listening something from a laptop. Here are some of my favourites, just to be clear I don't consider genres: Dire Straits, Stromae, Avicii and Postmodern Jukebox.

In the first year of grammar school we've pushed away our literature teacher's car. Because it was April Fools' Day. :D About the seventeen of us took part in it. At first, it was hard to make it move, but finally we did it! We've pushed it to another parking place. Our teacher was frightened, she thought her car was stolen. She was so angry with us. After it the literature lessons were not so cheerful…
