About Me
CURRENT MISSION
I am currently trying to learn "where is the sausage" in as many languages as possible. You may ask why...well, its always good for a nice laugh ;-)
ABOUT ME
Well, I guess as a scientist I also share some of their most common features...I am curious and I easily get excited about things and I guess once I have "discovered" something I wanna know all that's behind it. I find it thrilling to meet people and see different places which is why I try to travel as much as I can...
PHILOSOPHY
A day without a SMILE is a wasted day !!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
From the amount of requests I get together with my local CS friends I have to conclude that Goettingen is not the sexiest place to see...therefore I guess I am (unfortunately) only surfing and not host.
--> But please feel free to contact me if you want to visit this great University city and I assure you we will have a blast ;)
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Unfortunately so far I was not able to host anybody yet but I have made great experiences surfing myself.
Interests
Well I guess my biggest interest is traveling and meeting new people. Other then that I enjoy reading, good food+wine, photography and I just love to dive (unfortunately Germany is not the best place to do this...) and most team sports (doesn't matter if as a spectator or actively involved).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Diving remote reefs on the coast of Lombok (Indonesia). Sailing at the Australian East-Coast. Taking a nap at the Charles River in Cambridge (MA). Chasing a herd of cows in some mountains in the middle of nowhere in Idaho. Watching a Gaelic Football game in the Croke Park, Dublin. Enjoying the tranquility of a Swedish lake. Going for a walk with my dog at my parents place.
