Hi! I'm Benedetta!
I'm new to couchsurfing, but I've always been interested in this concept, and in particular in the idea of exchanging with people from all over the world. I've visited many countries both with my family and with friends also staying in hostels and in the future I see myself solo-traveling .
I'm an introverted person, but with a strong desire to connect with others. Also, I enjoy long conversations which are very important to me for both the brain and the soul.

Most of my life is currently taken up by university. I have a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and International Relations and I have just started my Master in Global and Development Studies. I am interested in politics and environmental and social issues.

I enjoy cooking for myself and my friends, often experimenting with vegetarian and vegan cuisine.
I have a passion for cinema and I'm trying to explore it over the years. Also, you can always find a book in my backpack and on my bedside table. I play the ukulele and listen to any kind of music: even if maybe I wouldn't add it to my playlist, I love discovering and listening to all kinds of melodies and songs.
It relaxes me both taking long walks in nature, and spending the night dancing to electronic and techno music.
I love being alone with my thoughts, and being surrounded by people who have something to tell.
I am a passionate listener,and I'm interested in other people's life experiences.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on couchsurfiig for several reasons. First of all, I think that it's a community of people who love people. In short, it's a great way to meet people of all kinds, talk to them and listen to them. I think there is a continuous exchange of ideas and experiences here that enriches our personalities in the most genuine way possible.
Secondly, I always try to experience the cities I visit as a "local". This is the experience that I wish everyone who comes to my city and that I'll try to give as a host! Of course, I hope this community can help me with the same kind of experience.
Then, I am a curious person and I have never experienced this type of travel, so here I am trying something new, which seems extremely interesting to me!
