CURRENT MISSION

My mission is to one day run a bar, and I'm nearly there! I've adopted a bar called Crocus in Shanghai, where I DJ and generally live! The staff are great and the people are friendly - come say HI! (I play most wednesdays and random nights)

ABOUT ME

I'm 24 (look like I'm 12), British.

I've been living in Shanghai for a year which is a very transient city. I've learnt how to form close friendship groups and networks, people may only be around for a short amount of time but I'm a good judge of character and the people I meet will often get on well with the people I introduce them too.

I don't like doing nothing, I'm nearly always out and about with friends or finding new ones. I've taken up DJing at my favourite bar which is an awesome way of meeting new people, I'm not a 'mixer' DJ I play songs I think people like and will often be out of the booth having a dance as well!

PHILOSOPHY

I'm not religious and I can't stand people who try to force religion on people, but I also can't stand atheists who are actively against religion.

Everybody is entitled to their beliefs, in some ways I'm jealous that I don't have any myself (but I don't need pushing in any direction!)

I love to cook, for people or just for myself. It is a great way to relax and experiment. Music is obviously a passion as a DJ and I have to keep up with new music and continuously expand my collection.

I write a lot, a ridiculously accurate diary of SH life , but also stories I've picked up from people over the years.

I've also been sucked into the Ultimate Frisbee world and find nearly all frisbee players really sociable people. I'm not exactly a Ultimate 'groupie' though - I do talk about other things!
