I'm a Melbourne-based freelance composer/sound designer for films and video games who's about to commence post-graduate studies at the end of July, so I am doing a trip to South Korea and Japan before I'm stuck in my country for another two years!

I would love to couch surf to meet some people and experience their cultures, as well as share mine with them. I think it's also a good way to find some company and direction during my solo travels, since it can be a bit intimidating when I don't speak the local language!

Music! Being a film and video game composer means I have an eclectic and open taste in music. I am also a big film critic, however that doesn't stop me from shutting my brain off every once in a while to enjoy some awesome Michael Bay explosions. Apart from that, I'm a hobbyist photographer/video artist, a physics enthusiast, a casual gamer, and a food devourer.

It would either be winning an international film music competition out of one-thousand contestants, or backpacking through Asia by myself for six months. I'd say both are on par!

Being from Australia, I can obviously teach English, but also Mandarin since my background is Chinese and Taiwanese. I'm also a part-time guitar and music teacher, so I'm happy to give some free lessons or have a jam! My expertise is in media composition so if there are any producers, composers, sound designers, or filmmakers out there, let us share our knowledge!

I would love to learn anything and everything about different cultures - especially about food, language, music, way of life, mentality, and just general everything.
