Hello everybody!

My name is Benjamin Kalusa and I decided to join Couchsurfing because of the great experiences some friends of mine did with this platform. I am 25 years old and I grew up in the near of Austria´s capital Vienna where I used to live over the last few years. I am in my Master Studies at the University of Applied Sciences in Wiener Neustadt that I will finish in fall 2015. Currently I am doing an exchange semester at Oglethorpe University in Atlanta, especially to gain new cultural experiences and to improve my english skills as much as possible.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I know this platform for several years now but it´s my first time where I try if it really works. I always wanted to figure out if it´s possible to meet nice people over the internet and I really hope to find some some people who can provide me with an accommodation. That would be really amazing!

Interests

I really like sports and I really love to travel around. I already did a lot of experience with traveling. I visited many countries in Europe as well as Thailand, Brazil, Canada and more than ten states in the USA. I am open minded to everybody and really like to get to know new people and I am very interested in cultures all over the world. I am very active, have a positive attitude and also like to go out to bars or clubs on weekends :).

Music, Movies, and Books

I like many different kinds of music, always depends on my mood :)
When I go out I prefer House Music, but when I am just relaxing I also like Pop, Rock and sometime Hip Hop Music.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Last summer I did an voluntary service for 6 weeks in Brazil where I thought young children in a Highschool. That was such an amazing experience that I will never forget!!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share my culture, my experience and I hope I can ensure a good time for my host and me. I am willing to share my appartment also to other people as soon as I am back in Vienna.
