My girlfriend Catherine and I have worked in Kenya for the past five years helping to build a company that transforms poop into power. Now we're setting off an an adventure to explore the world and take some time to figure out what's next.

I love meeting new people and have been accused of talking too much. I'm just as happy on a soccer pitch as sitting in a hammock reading a book, preference for murder mysteries. If I had to choose I would say I like mountains over beaches but I feel at home in both. I have pet passions for botany and marine biology, so don't get me started talking about plants. I'm laid back and easy, and will eat anything and sleep anywhere!

Catherine is a runner and swimmer and all-around explorer. Trained as an engineer but also adept at cooking healthy food and is a fantastic listener.

The two of us are on a round-the-world trip to help us figure out what's next in our lives. We love taking time to meet people and get local suggestions on what to experience and how to experience it.

In March We rented a scooter and drove through the jungle in Ella, Sri Lanka to a series of remote waterfalls where we swam at the top. Looking down you could see over a 300ft drop with just a small ledge separating us and the river below. Didn't show that photo to the parents...

We are both fairly good chefs and keep a tidy kitchen. We love gardening and helping around the house. Happy to help with shopping or errands as we explore the area too.

Both Catherine and I have helped build up a company from 1 to more than 90 people and love talking about business ideas. We can help with brainstorming, prototyping, financial modeling and fundraising, and any aspect of starting a business. We can also advise on sanitation or energy opportunities with the house!
