我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I heard a lot about couchsurfing in the past but since I never really travelled a lot I never put much thought into it. Now that this changed and I am exploring the Americas for the next few months one thing became clear to me: Hostels can be boring. They can be great if you meet people, but sometimes they are just too big and unpersonal and you live side by side without making any connection. This and the fact that you hardly ever get to know locals but just more travellers make couchsurfing a great opportunity to have a different experience!

I love many kinds of music, often this comes in phases or depending on my mood. But it can range from various kinds of House and Techno over (Electro-) Indie to Jazz, Bossa Nova and Classical Music

I am a reasonably skilled cook. Even though I am/was a vegetarian for the past 15 years I can prepare a traditional Austrian Schnitzel or a Kaiserschmarren if you like that :)
Otherwise I could teach you a bit on the drums, even though I assume this will be rather rarely asked.
