I am a 22 year old Bavarian barbarian who now lives in the beautiful Black Forest in southern Germany and tries to savor life as much as possible. The goal is to forage knowledge and skills on my path to become more independent and my lifestyle more sustainable every day. I study Environmental Science and Nature Conservation in Freiburg at the moment, after I finish my degree next year I want to get into carpentry. I try to put myself more in tough and difficult situations, preferably while being on the move outside - this is where I get the greatest reward. I used to play a lot of music and hope to get back into that again soon, I was forced on a break during my studies abroad in Norway.

I prefer travelling slow and getting to know the places I visit deeply, that's what I think couchsurfing is perfect for. I hope to return something to the host by trying to make the time of my stay entertaining and meaningful.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

Last year I went to my brother's wedding on my roadbike - 500km with very little equipment, just sleeping in a hammock under the stars alone. Powerful experience.
Another time a friend and me managed to start a fire in the woods in the snow at -15°C without lighter or matches, that felt pretty cool.

I think I'm a pretty decent baker and cook and more than happy to exchange knowledge on food. Of course I clean up after myself and am happy to help with anything you need help with.
