Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've had extremely frustrating experiences with hotels the last couple of years, to the point where I just sleep in my car now instead, but I also like to meet new people when I go on adventures. I like cooking for people or telling stories, and I don't get to do that very often anymore since I've left the military.

Right now, I'm using Couchsurfing as another way to try to find a place to stay in Philly during the DNC. But afterwards I'm hoping to find interesting places to stay when I have enough money to do another road trip across the country. I wish I had known about this when I did it after I got out of the military.
