I live in the Palm Springs area in Southern California and am finishing my undergrad studies as a History Major. I love to learn about other cultures and have a thirst for travel that can't be quenched. I love meeting new people and sharing positive experiences.

Traveling can be quite expensive for starters. I recently discovered couchsurfing and thought it would be a better authentic experience to stay with a local and see any given location from a local's perspective opposed to the typical tourist experience.
