Hi there, I am a university graduate who is taking a gab year at the moment. For a long time I have been curious about South East Europe and the Middle East. Now the time has come and I am on a spectacular cycling adventure from Germany to Africa.

Back home I have studied Biology, British and American studies and Educational Sience. I freelanced as an experential educator in programs counteracting racism, bullying and any forms of discrimination in schools and also worked as a teacher for the school subject "happiness". In addition I enjoy emperical research and have worked as a research assistant in different projects at Uni.

My journey has already brought me to most scenic places and allowed me to meet the most warmhearted and generous people. I have spent two months helping in refugee camps on the Greek islands Lesvos and Samos and have developed a specific interest for the route I cycle on as it is a major migrational route for people onthe move to western Europe.

I would be immensly grateful for an opportunity to be hosted via this platform that I so far have not used a lot. I am curious, eager to learn and keen to break through all the stereotypes that we have about the Middle East in our western countries.
