ABOUT ME

Hey I'm Ben, I finished university last year and went to live in Madrid for a while, and now I'm living and volunteering as a teacher in Santa Marta, Colombia.

I would say that I'm friendly, honest, and open-minded. I love getting to know new people and places and exploring new cultures, and currently I'm hooked on everything Hispanic!

I've met some really great, interesting people so far and I can't wait to meet some more of you.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've only just discovered CouchSurfing whilst I've been here in Santa Marta, so it's all new to me. I'm looking for a house or flat to share with local people for several weeks whilst I'm here, and when I'm back in London people are more than welcome to come and stay with me!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My couch surfing experiences have all been really positive, I've made good friends, and had good laughs.

Intereses

Getting to know new people and places, learning Spanish, playing the guitar/drums, rock climbing, skiing, running, spending quality time and laughing with friends, reading about economics, politics, philosophy and sociology!

Tasty Spanish jamón and tortillas de patatas, I'm hooked on jerez/sherry since going to Andalusia, watching flamenco and salsa all over Spain, Colombian music, Colombian friendliness (I've never met anything like it before!), and Colombian history!
