ABOUT ME

I grew up in suburban Connecticut, but spent all my vacations at my grandparent's house in Montana hiking, camping, fishing and skiing with my large extended family.

When I graduated college in 2012 I spent the summer backpacking around the world -- visiting 20+ countries -- before working on a starting Boston and then Seattle for two years. I moved to San Francisco in 2014 and have lived here since.

If you like adventures and have a sense of humor, we'll get along great.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I went to college nearby and subsequently have a lot of friends in the area. Sometimes, it seems like we all live in a little bubble! I want to step outside my circles to meet new and interesting people from all over the country and world.

Meeting new and interesting people from all over the world and all walks of life was favorite aspect of my round-the-world trip. I don't want those experiences to stop even though I'm now settled in SF, so I hope Couchsurfing can bring a little bit of that travel excitement right here.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Not much. I used Couchsurfing once in the summer of 2012 during my round-the-world trip and then have hosted occasional people over the years when my living situation allowed it.

Interests

I enjoy sailing, fly fishing and playing board/card games (especially Scrabble). I've taken up cooking a couple years ago and cross-fit more recently.
