I am a 27-year-old motorsport journalist. I used to teach French in the UK (Kettering) and the USA (Brunswick, Maine) as a language assistant/teaching fellow. I love travelling! I try to visit as many places and get to know as many people as I can.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

When travelling, especially if I'm on my own, I like spending time with locals and other travellers. It's the best way to get to know their cultures.

Interests

Outside motorsport (obviously), I like music (I can play the piano, though not as well as I should after learning for 10 years, and I can sing), hiking (my favourite activity when travelling!) and many other things.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like pretty much all genres of music. My favourite artists are Bastille, Angels and Airwaves, and Imagine Dragons.

I like all kinds of movies too, except horror movies which I don't enjoy much.

Despite being 26 I'm still quite into teenage literature, and my favourite author is John Green (Looking For Alaska, The Fault In Our Stars, etc).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I had a go-kart race with a famous Formula 1 driver and fought him for the win (I lost obviously!)

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'd love to teach French to my hosts or fellow travellers and learn their languages - or anything else! I'd be happy to share stories and experiences too.
