ABOUT ME

Heyyy thanks for your time in checking out my profile. I'm a very introverting member of society. I'm a fantastic socializer, but I enjoy exploring life on my own or with a small group of close friends whom I trust and enjoy diving into themes with. I'm super positive, and encouraging, but I have a dark, sarcastic side that I enjoy expressing humorously. I was raised on the East Coast - Upstate New York & New England - but have been in Oakland for the past three years.

I'm working on making music my livelihood. I make dark synthpop music. I believe growth comes from darkness but I also believe I don't need to experience darkness to a point of damage anymore. I'm completely sober from drugs/alcohol/smoke out of choice. I've tried these items and I learned from them but I care about my health and state of being. I'm passionate about keeping myself in a consistent state of health where I continuously reach for new standards of living. I grow much of my own food, am a vegetarian (for personal choice - not necessarily philosophy), and enjoy using flower and plant essences and tea to relax. Uh, also I love coffee a little too much, maybe. I'm in life for the transformation and experience. I hope this profile doesn't sound too serious! But the truth is, I have a very focused and motivated personality. I have a high standard of quality for myself & my projects.

I'm very clean and low-maintenance, and usually just seek a quiet place to sleep so I can process my experiences. I enjoy exploring on my own, but if people I resonate with are available to show me some spots, I'd love to be included.

PHILOSOPHY

I live life for transformation. I'm aware that I've chosen certain themes to explore in this life, and therefore anything that comes my way is of my choosing. An experience that brings up feeling means there is something there for me. I enjoy riding the wave of that feeling and instead of squashing it or trying to make it go away just because it might be super intense, I enjoy exploring it and kneading it until I discover what brought it up inside me.

I'm regretful to announce that I cannot host at this time, because I live in a very small apartment with one other quiet and introverted writer. I'm hoping to connect with people in a few cities I would love to visit, because I believe how we interpret our surroundings can lead to a great awareness of ourselves. I also find that some of my favorite connections in life come from people who live far away that I can share just a few dayz with. If a true connection is made, I would be down to hang and show some sites if you came to SF/Oakland. I'm super excited about meeting new people - both in cities I visit & in my home area - through this site.

I've hosted some friends of friends from Europe in the past, but have never made a connection through this website. I'm new to it and excited to see what interactionz may evolve.

I would love to give you some singing tips. I'm still figuring certain things out - and the process of learning how to sing has been intimately connected with self-validation of emotion and not being afraid to release my voice. To get to a point where I felt comfortable doing so, there were some physical aspects of releasing the voice I learned and I would love to share what I know if you are somewhere - anywhere - along the path to learning how to sing.
