I am a 24 years old French lad. Recently accepted for a PhD in München, I am looking forward to starting this new big adventure and enjoying all the smaller ones that will come with it!

PHILOSOPHY

No decision is bad as long as one sticks to it.
There is a lesson for every experience.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I lived abroad in a multicultural town during the last four years. I met such a diversity of exceptional people and learned so much from them. All these encounters were an inestimable richness. Now that I left, I am willing to make the experience continue wherever my way leads to!
Traveling never felt as good as when I discovered the place through encounters with locals/residents!

Interests

I am curious about everything!
Ecology (the science of ecosystems, not the political movement!) and agriculture. I like to see crop fields as functional ecosystems where the diversity of organisms interacting with one another make their contribution to the food production.
Social sciences, especially history and anthropology. A town, a tribe, a nation, the World, are the most complex and fascinating ecosystems! :)

Working outside, growing, cooking and eating my own food.
Playing piano and bass, trying to be creative, mostly failing at it..!

Books: George Orwell

I do not know much about cinema, but David Fincher's movies and Hayao Miyazaki's animes marked me the most! As far as actors are concerned, I especially like Robert fucking de Niro!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I saved an old woman from drowning when I was a teenager. Very few people noticed but it felt glorious!
