ABOUT ME

Well, I like to meet new people, friendly ones of course. I enjoyed photography, still learning though. When i am overseas, I like to explore around the place by walking, public transport, etc. I love talking to people and listening to their adventures, life, travel experience, cultural norms. I travel quite a fair bit, average once a month for work and it was really enjoyable getting an opportunity to venture out there and see how people live their life in different places and under different cultural norms. There are so many things that we can learn from everyone along the way in our life, the world is our classroom and CouchSurfing advocates this ideology.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

If you visit Singapore, I can show you around this small island, to places less touristy or even tourist hotspots if you like :), and followed by great local food. Occasionally I do organize activities such as wakeboarding(i suck at this), photo-walk or photo-tour, cycling trips, or just a simple meal together. I have no couch to offer since like almost all Singaporeans, I do not live alone.

Similarly, I do hope that during my oversea trips, I can meet new friends from CS, bring me to nice local places, get me acquainted with their culture, teach me survival words from their native languages :P

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Met some couchsurfers in Jakarta, met and organize some events in Singapore. Met up with a really cool CS community in Taipei, plus cycling expedition with some lovely people from CS Taiwan~. Was in Japan in Dec 2011 and met some nice souls in CS, traveling from Tokyo/Yokohama to Kanazawa and to Kyoto/Nara/Osaka, had a fun and crazy Bonenkai in Yokohama as well as a tiring, chilly and happening New Year countdown party in Kyoto.Throughout all these CS events, I had met quite a number of people and it was really enjoyable listening to their travel and cultural experiences.

兴趣

Photography, Cycling, Traveling, Exploring around by foot and bicycle, most of the time when i am overseas, i love to get on the public transport and just travel from stations to stations..get off, walk around..get back on...or just really walking/cycling around the area the entire day :) Encounter something nice and scenic...stop and take a look and take some pictures.

There is so much things to discover in the world that I had yet to. I want to broaden my vision and understanding by traveling and exploring as much as I could.
