About Me

ABOUT ME

Open minded, tidy, working in civil engineering.
Sometimes fun sometimes boring - aren’t we all a bit like that?

The older I grow the more I realise that there are far to many people with anger in their hearts, not realising that it creates only more of that.

And especially nowadays there are far too many poor Germans who are scared of everything foreign because they never learned to communicate and so never saw that we’re all the same - human beings, trying to do the best we can with our lives.

At the moment I'm a bit busy in my job, so it may take some time until you'll get an answer. If there is a possibility I sometimes "mix" travelers from different requests as long as there is enough space.

PLEASE make a propper request, just copy&paste a message is very difficult to handle with... and please, don't be angry if I don't answer immediately, I'm very busy at the moment.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

First I was just curious to find out how it works. Although I can't provide a couch so far at my students apartment I really liked the thought of sharing the space I have with other people.
It appeared to be awesome to get to know open minded people of very different backgrounds, enjoy the time together and share space, culture and time together.

After I only hosted people in Berlin in the beginning, I had the chance to surf on couches in Canada, US, Thailand an Vietnam so far. And it always was an amazing experience - thanks to all that great hosts and guests.

Interests

Being happy!

By the way, I'm doing a lot of things wich make my time worth living and color up my life.

Music, Movies, and Books

Ohh thats a pretty bad headline for a topic.

I perform symphonic music in an orchestra, listen to: rock, pop, classical, electro swing, jazz, singers-and-songwriters, funk music, Latin American music and many more... Depending on my mood i sometimes like or dislike the genres.

There are some super Films. One I just recently rediscovered is "Cool Runnings" but also others. In my teens I liked movies with Will Smith a lot.
Last Series I watched was "Suits" which I really liked.

Well what I read is mostly professional lecture about civil engineering, which I really love if it's not written too badly.
Kind of nerd from that perspective.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Lived and worked on a farm on 1400 m above sea level in the swiss alps two hours apart from the next City.
Learned to milk cows by hand and helped to run an alp on 2000 m.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Conversations about my future profession, of course, life in general and personal experiences.
Travel Stories from different angles of life.

Some cooking skills (traditional german kitchen, european and mediterranean kitchen and some trials of thai kitchen).

If you need help in anything artisanal I'm able to help you with, I'd love to help you with that.

Of course a space at my place in Berlin in return.
