ABOUT ME

I am an adventure enthusiast. Whether it happens on my own doorstep or lost in the middle of an unknown country, adventure SHOULD be my middle name...but it's actually John. I love pretty well anything that scares me but doesn't compromise my morals or marriage.

I don't do drugs. I don't drink, unless for a cultural experience! I want to meet more people, sleep well at night, and become a more well rounded person.

I prefer calm over chaotic. I want to see more of the world than would ever be possible.

PHILOSOPHY

I have done everything from a bodybuilding competition to 24-hr famines. I tend to get into things that I have no clue how to do.

In my own opinion, most people dont try hard enough to for the things that matter in life. The fact that most people spend more time per week watching TV than reading or being phsyically active DOES NOT sit well with me.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have hosted and surfed. I surfed in Europe, USA, and Canada, and now I host here in British Columbia.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Surfed some couches in Europe, Canada, and the USA! All were great experiences and I was hosted by kind loving people. Also hosted some awesome people here in the sunshine state.

Interesses

Photography, travel, meeting different and GENUINE people, snowboarding, surfing, sunshine, fitness, education, my wife. Anything moral that makes my heart beat faster!!! I love doing things I think are un-repeatable and make for good stories.

I am not much of a media person really...I read a lot as of late. I usually manage to devour a book a month or so.

Bodybuilding competition, cliff jumping, a few motorbike crashes, bungee jumping, getting married at 20...

I've gone a from a near failure in first year uni to the top of my class 2 years later. I have travelled more than most people I know, and finally feel like I fit in with my family...a large task in itself.

I saw some goats climbing tress in Morocco...THAT was amazing.
